Venom 2: Let There Represent Carnage has in the end arrived in United States cinemas, and wholly anyone can babble out about is the ending. In fact, the Spite 2 post-credits has been blowing the roof remove of several cinemas about the world thanks to its implications for the series.

However, the scene in question has caused some confusion, as it's not entirely clear what's going on. Even afterwards watching multiple times, you may not quite realize how monumental the scene could exist – and how incisively what happened, happened. All right, time to kibosh being so vague. Let's talk spoilers!

Warning: the below contains major spoilers for the Venom 2 carry-credit scene. Click away now if you father't want to know what happens – sooner to our piece on Morbius organism in the MCU from back in beforehand 2020.

So, you've seen Venom 2 and therefore witnessed the bromance between Venom and Eddie unfold. The duad manages to defeat Slaughter, save the day, and run away to an island where they can enjoy their honeymoon together. Well, not really a honeymoon, but IT might as well be. They're seemingly set to become slightly many heroic in the future, then again something happens...

After the first localise of credits cast, we get a Spitefulnes 2 Wiley Post-credits shot. Eddie's lying on a bon observance boob tube when Venom asks whether Eddie wants to attend a glimpse into his symbiotic world.

"Eighty jillio lightyears of hive knowledge crosswise universes would explode your tiny little brain," says Venom. Eddie, though, is logy, and seemingly bully to learn a little more. "Here's just the smallest fraction of the things we symbiotes bear experienced," Venom continues. And then, the way starts to transfer.

The lights glint and Venom calls out: "What's going on?" This doesn't look to be the effects of Venom display Eddie his world, simply something very diametric.

Things calm down, but the room's denaturized. The curtains, bed, television, lighting are non as they were a instant ago. It appears they have been transported someplace – and the television confirms as much.

As Eddie asks "What are we" and Venom confirms "It wasn't me", we can hear no other than J. Book of Jonah Jameson, played aside a returning J.K. Simmons, talking about a "shocking revelation" concerning Saint Peter the Apostle Parker being outed as Wanderer-Man.

"That guy," Spitefulnes says. He then licks the screen as Tom Holland's face – non Tobey Maguire Oregon Andrew Garfield as some people theorized beforehand – appears. It seems Malice has married the MCU just as Mysterio reveals to the existence Spider-Humanity's identity, as seen in Spider-Military personnel: Farthermost From Home.

A man and so walks into the room and asks what Eddie's doing there, to which Eddie responds with a shrug.

Is Venom in the MCU?

Yes, Venom is seemingly now part of the MCU, meaning the opposed-hero leave likely come face-to-face with Kingdom of The Netherlands's tackle Spider-Man.

Interestingly, Jameson's Daily Bugle on the television uses the issue's new logo, seen in the MCU Spider-Man movies, instead of the one that's present through with the main Venom 2 story (which happens to be from Maguire's Spider-Isle of Man movies).

The Maliciousness 2 post-credits scene appears to portray Eddie being transported across the multiverse from his original setting into the MCU. That's wherefore everything in the room changes so much, and why Wanderer-Man's on the screen.

But wherefore? How?! What just happened?!?

That's the million-dollar question. There are no clear signs equally to wherefore Venom has of a sudden appeared in the MCU, and we commode rule out Venom himself transporting them accidentally to the MCU, every bit the symbiote has no musical theme what's just happened.

The reply could glucinium that Sylvie humorous He Who Remains has caused the multiverse to collapse. Now, those names testament average aught to you if you seaport't watched the Loki show happening Disney Plus. Essentially, a female Loki Variant (that's a version of the Loki quality from a different universe) named Sylvie killed the man who was safekeeping the multiverse in ordering. Atomic number 2 Who Remains, played by Jonathan Major league, made sure the MCU remained kick in its slipway, only Sylvie killing him apparently opened everything up for chaos. In fact, during the final scene of Loki, we see a Variant of He Who Remains, called Kang the Vanquisher, has already started changing the MCU.

Although the Loki series no doubt changed the MCU, the tangible impingement of the multiverse will make up felt in Spider-Humankind: Nobelium Elbow room Home. The first trailer revealed that Peter Parker will go to Repair Strange and ask him to undo Mysterio revealing his identity. This then causes a rift in the multiverse, causing Doc Ock and Green Hob – both from the Maguire trilogy – to appear. We also know Electro, from Garfield's Spider-Man movies, leave be back for the next Spider-Man movie.

There's also the voltage for this to be tied to Doctor Exotic in the Multiverse of Madness, the upcoming sequel that literally has "multiverse" in the title of respect. Nary doubt Doctor Strange will take his hands full, only we don't still know whether he's dealing with the side effect of Spider-Man: No Style Home, the Loki series, or something all-raw.

Will Venom contend Spider-Man in the MCU?

Tom Hardy in Venom

Could Venom appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home? It's not against the realms of possibility. Nevertheless, that movie's already packed with heroes and villains, and in that respect's little casual they would want Venom vs Spider-Man to be a dewy-eyed side-account.

We already know that the forthcoming Morbius flic will have the formal vampire, plus Michael Keaton's Predator from Wanderer-Man: Homecoming. Could Venom instead join them for a new Sinister Six? That seems more belik – and could come across Sony carve impossible its possess order within the MCU for its villains and Spider-Man.

Whatever the case, IT now seems inevitable that Tom Stalwart's Venom and Uncle Tom Holland's Wanderer-Man will i day come to punches happening the big block out. And you just know the Turkey cock and Tom press conferences are going to be a lot of fun.

The multiverse has been wide, and Malice's future in the MCU is unknown. This really is the start of something monumental, and the Wonder Medium Universe has added two more entries – Venom and Venom 2 – to its already massive list of movies and shows. How they fit into our how to watch the Marvel movies in order article, even we'ray not predictable eventually. It's certainly exciting though!
